Winter vomiting bug will hit two million Britons this winter

The UK has been hit by the nasty winter vomiting bug once again bringing hospitals up and down the country to their knees. The Norovirus is the most common cause of sickness and diarrhoea in England and Wales and the number of cases typically begins to rise in the winter months. The main reason this virus spreads so quickly is that you are still contagious for 48 hours after symptoms have disappeared.
So what can you do to try and prevent this little nasty? Experts say there is no cure or drug to help ease the pain, discomfort and even embarrassment of stinking out the office toilets before your colleagues need to use it.
The health protection Agency recommends good hygiene to prevent people spreading the virus to others. This includes thoroughly washing hands after going to the toilet and before and after preparing food.
You can help your office and home environment with a selection of products that will keep a suspected Norovirus at bay.
